This session supports practitioners to encourage parents to recognise the importance of their teenager’s mental health, exploring how we can provide opportunities for emotional development & helping to equip parents with the skills to help improve their teenagers emotional health & wellbeing.

Through the teenage years, it’s important to help raise their self-esteem & for them to feel more self-accepting. This session helps practitioners support parents to help develop their teenager’s positive self-image and be more self-accepting.
Conflict within families can be challenging for teenagers and parents. This can be sibling conflict or challenges between the parent-teen relationship. This session will help practitioners to explore the causes of conflict within families, recognise reactions to conflict, and to help equip parents to deal with conflict to reduce family stress.
Many teenagers push the boundaries which can lead to risk-taking behaviour. This session provides practitioners with a better understanding of the changes teenagers are experiencing in their thinking & behaviour, as well as equips practitioners to support parents with the skills to manage their teen’s risk-taking behaviour.
Building our teenager’s resilience will help to prepare them for the challenges they may face throughout their lives. This free online session will help practitioners to support parents to understand the importance of developing their teenager’s resilience and equip them to help parents to support their teenager to develop self-control, build self-regulation & develop thinking skills.
