About The People’s Projects
The National Lottery Community Fund, The National Lottery, ITV, UTV and the Sunday Mail in Scotland have teamed up to give the public a chance to decide how over £4 million in National Lottery funding should be put to good use in their local area.
With 95 organisations shortlisted across the UK for this year’s campaign, vote for the projects you would like to see receive up to £70,000 of funding to improve the lives of people in their community.

How to vote
Step 1 – Find a project!
Click on ‘Start voting’ at the top of the homepage.
If you already know the project you wish to vote for, simply search by project name.
Alternatively, you can select a region on our map or list, by entering your postcode, or
allow us to use your current location.
Step 2 – Click on a project in your chosen region
Choose one project to vote for within that region.
You can vote in more than one region, but you can only vote for one project per region.
Step 3 –Submit your vote
Once you have chosen a project, you are ready to submit your vote.
When submitting your vote, we ask for your name, email address OR mobile phone
number and UK postcode.
Step 4 – Verify your vote
All votes must be verified by the voter using a mobile phone number or an email address.
If you wish to verify your vote(s) via a mobile phone you will be sent a text message
containing a verification code. You will need to enter this code in the box specified on the
verification page. You will do this whilst you are still on the website so this is the quickest
way to verify your vote. In order for your vote to be counted, please make sure you
submit the verification code before leaving the website.
If you choose to verify your vote(s) via email you will be emailed a link that you need to
click on to confirm your vote. Once you have clicked on the verification link in the email,
you will be directed to The People’s Projects website to confirm your vote has been
counted. In order for your vote to be counted, please follow this link and remember to
check your junk folder too.
