What is Parents Helpline?
Parents Helpline offers a freephone helpline and appointment service to families facing a range of difficulties. This service provides a non-judgemental listening ear, support and guidance to clients who may be distressed or worried about a family issue, or just need someone to talk to.
Since 1979, Parents Helpline has provided support to thousands of families every year. All Parents Helpline volunteers and staff are either parents themselves or have substantial experience of working with parents and therefore understand how stressful it can be to raise children and young people in today's society. As well as supporting family members, Parents Helpline also responds to enquiries from professionals and other organisations on a wide range of parenting and family issues.
