Parents Helpline provides confidential support and guidance in dealing with family issues. If you are concerned about your child’s behaviour, family conflict, the impact of separation or bullying, or any other family issue no matter how big or small, Parents Helpline is here to help, providing a free and confidential support service to all family members via a freephone helpline or local appointment services Parents Helpline also takes calls from parents or professionals who have serious child protection concerns. |

- Father concerned about his 17 year old son who has dropped out of school and communication between parents and son has broken down
- Mother struggling with 3 year old son whose behaviour has regressed since his baby sister was born
- Grandmother concerned about her daughter - a young single mum - who seems to be struggling parenting her 18 month old
- Recently separated dad needing guidance on what to tell his children about why he no longer lives in the family home
Parenting Education
For Parenting Education, the main issues concerning the parents who attend courses are: managing children's and teenagers challenging behaviour; dealing with separation and divorce; parents anger management; building positive relationships; communication breakdown; coping with personal and family stress; self-esteem issues.
